For Assetto Corsa in 2026, the Moza SRP2 load cell pedals suit most drivers best: a 100 kg load cell brake gives consistent, pressure based braking at a sensible level. The SR-P Lite set from the R5 bundle works well as a starter, especially with the clutch expansion for manual road cars. The CRP2, with its 200 kg load cell and CNC machined aluminium, suits serious GT and endurance drivers who want the firmest brake and the most adjustment.
The right choice depends on how you drive in Assetto Corsa: road cars on traffic servers, drifting, or GT laps on track. Below you find what each pedal set does, how to set it up in the game, and what your rig needs to make it work.
Why pedals matter more than you think in Assetto Corsa
Your wheel tells you what the car does, but your pedals decide how consistent you are.
Pressure beats position
A basic pedal measures how far you push it. A load cell pedal measures how hard you push. Your muscles remember pressure much better than travel. As a result, you hit the same brake level lap after lap, which makes trail braking into a corner far easier. In Assetto Corsa, with its strong weight transfer, that shows up quickly in your lap times.
The game rewards a clean brake
Many Assetto Corsa cars have no ABS. Lock the fronts and you slide straight on. A pedal with a firm, progressive brake helps you stay just below the locking point. Our Moza Assetto Corsa settings guide covers the wheel side; this article covers your feet.
The Moza pedal options compared
Moza offers three pedal levels that fit a typical Assetto Corsa setup.
SR-P Lite: the starter set
The SR-P Lite comes with the R5 bundle as a throttle and brake set. It uses a position based brake, so it feels more like a basic pedal. For relaxed road car driving it does the job. The dedicated clutch expansion, built from sheet steel with CNC machined aluminium parts, adds a third pedal for heel and toe in manual cars.

SRP2: the sweet spot
The SRP2 adds a 100 kg load cell brake and a 15 bit angle sensor with 32,768 steps of resolution. Out of the box you get 25 brake feel configurations with the standard elastomers and springs. With the optional performance kit that grows to more than 1,000. You also adjust pedal angle between 10 and 25 degrees and pedal spacing by 15 mm either way. For most Assetto Corsa drivers, that is all they need.
CRP2: the firm, premium choice
The CRP2 uses CNC machined aluminium, a carbon fibre heel plate and a 200 kg load cell. It offers 1,764 configuration options, from soft road car brakes to stiff race car brakes. If you drive GT3 or prototype cars and want a brake that feels like a real race car, this is the set to choose.
How to set up Moza pedals for Assetto Corsa
Good pedals still need a clean setup in Pit House and in the game.
Calibrate in Pit House first
Calibrate every pedal in Pit House before you open the game. Set the maximum brake force to a level you reach comfortably with a firm push, not with your full body weight. Many drivers set it far too high and never reach 100 percent in a panic stop. Save the pedal settings together with your base settings, as explained in our guide to Moza Pit House presets for Assetto Corsa.
Check the axes in Content Manager
In Content Manager, open the Controls page and press each pedal fully. The live bar must reach 100 percent and return to 0. Set brake gamma close to 1 at first, and only change it if the brake feels too sensitive at the top of the travel. Keep deadzones tiny, around 1 to 2 percent, just to stop a resting foot from dragging the brake.

Tune the brake feel with elastomers
Next, swap elastomers or springs until the brake feels right. A soft stack suits road cars and drifting; a stiff stack suits GT and formula cars. Our brake pedal elastomer and travel tuning guide explains each step.
Which pedals suit your style in Assetto Corsa?
Match the pedal to the cars you drive most.
Road cars, traffic and drifting
For cruising and traffic servers, the SR-P Lite with clutch is enough. For drifting, a clutch helps for clutch kicks, and a handbrake adds more control than the brake pedal. In both cases, a firm load cell is nice but not essential.
GT, endurance and hotlapping
For GT cars without ABS and long stints, the SRP2 or CRP2 makes a clear difference. Consistent pressure means fewer lockups, so you save tyres and time. If your wheel also feels light at the same time, our guide on why a Moza wheel feels weak in Assetto Corsa helps you balance both.
Your cockpit decides how well load cells work
A load cell only works when the pedal deck holds firm under a hard push.
Rated braking load
Push 80 kg into a pedal on a flexing deck and the brake feels soft and vague, whatever you set in Pit House. Johan Akkerman, CEO of SIMGASM and a former esports world champion, designed every SIMGASM cockpit around this exact problem. He has over 15 years of experience in sim racing and tested many pedal sets on many frames before SIMGASM started development in January 2026. The Club cockpit uses a 40 x 80 mm main profile and a rated braking load of 200 kg at the pedal deck, which matches a CRP2 or SRP2 well. Need more reserve? The Sport and Pro cockpits go up to 300 kg. Questions about Moza pedals in Assetto Corsa
Short answers to common pedal questions.
Do I need a clutch pedal in Assetto Corsa?
Not for most modern cars with paddles. For old road cars, heel and toe, and drifting, a clutch adds realism and control.
Is a load cell brake worth it for Assetto Corsa?
Yes, especially for cars without ABS. Pressure based braking makes your stops far more consistent.
Should I set brake gamma in the game or in Pit House?
Pick one place. Most drivers set the curve in Pit House and keep the game gamma at 1.
Do Moza pedals connect through the wheelbase or USB?
Both options exist, depending on the model. Either way, they show up in Pit House and Content Manager.
