The SIMGASM Club range sits between the compact Hobby cockpit and the more heavily equipped Sport and Pro platforms. It is designed for drivers who have moved beyond occasional racing and want a stronger foundation for regular training, league events or club-level competition without immediately stepping into the upper end of the range.
Compared with Hobby, Club uses a base profile that is twice as thick. This gives frequent racers more structural headroom for stronger controls, firmer pedal inputs and future hardware upgrades while keeping the chassis focused and sensibly priced.
Under SIMGASM's cockpit selection guidance, Club is suitable for wheelbases producing up to and including 26 Nm. It is therefore a practical middle ground for racers who want serious direct-drive hardware but do not yet need the extra structure, cable integration and mounting capacity of Sport or Pro.
A lower-powered wheelbase can also make sense on Club when upgrade headroom matters more than having the smallest possible frame. Torque is not the only compatibility factor: always confirm the mounting pattern, wheel mount, pedal set, seat, accessories and assembly requirements of the complete setup.
Many sim racers begin with a straightforward wheel and pedal set before adding stronger pedals, a shifter, handbrake, button box or upgraded direct-drive wheelbase. Club is designed for that progression. Its stronger base gives you more room to develop the simulator before the chassis itself becomes the reason to rebuild.
This makes Club especially relevant if you already race regularly or expect your hardware to become more demanding over time. It provides a clear increase in strength over Hobby while avoiding features that only larger or more complex setups need.
Club does not include the integrated cable-management holes found in Sport and Pro. Sport also adds a thicker pedal tray and base structure, a longer shifter arm and a stronger, more adjustable wheel mount. For wheelbases above 26 Nm, SIMGASM recommends Sport or Pro; above 40 Nm, choose Pro.
These differences keep Club purpose-built rather than simply making it a smaller copy of the top models. You pay for the stronger foundation and upgrade potential that regular racers are likely to use, while Sport and Pro remain available for more powerful or accessory-heavy builds.
Club suits enthusiastic home racers, league participants and club competitors who want dependable support for stronger hardware while remaining conscious of budget. It is also the logical step up from Hobby when you plan to race more frequently or upgrade beyond 16 Nm.
The result is a purposeful middle-ground cockpit: stronger and more upgrade-ready than Hobby, yet more focused than the top models. For many regular sim racers, that is exactly the right position in the SIMGASM range.
