Contain the Simucube 2 Ultimate's 32 Nm without dulling it

The official Simucube 2 manual lists the Ultimate at 32 Nm maximum torque. Its low-inertia motor and high-resolution feedback make structural movement especially counterproductive: the more the wheel deck yields, the more subtle tyre-load and surface information is mixed with movement from the cockpit itself.

A 32 Nm maximum places this wheelbase in the over 26 to 40 Nm bracket. SIMGASM therefore selects two tiers: Sport and Pro. Sport is a correctly rated high-torque option for a carefully assembled home setup. Pro is the preferred foundation for regular full-output driving, very stiff brake systems, larger wheels, motion or long service life.

Maximum-force and long-term guidance

The Ultimate can apply large loads repeatedly through the wheel mount and uprights. Check those joints as a system, including the base-frame corners and seat supports, rather than looking only at the wheel plate. If the goal is to buy once and remove flex from the decision entirely, Pro is our guaranteed 100% flex-free recommendation. It offers the strongest margin against loosening, changing accessories and future increases in pedal or motion loads.

The Ultimate does not share every SC2 mounting detail

Do not assume a bracket proven on Simucube 2 Sport or Pro also fits the Ultimate. The official manual gives the Ultimate its own through-hole mounting arrangement, so the chosen front mounting solution must be checked against the exact Ultimate drawing, including its pattern, centring clearance, fastener length and shaft position. If considering any bottom-mount arrangement, require explicit product confirmation rather than adapting a plate informally.
