View full detailsMOZA's current R12 V2 specification lists 12 Nm peak torque; it does not publish a separate holding figure on the product page. SIMGASM therefore uses 12 Nm as the maximum for compatibility. Because that value remains below the 16 Nm ceiling, the R12 V2 is assigned to the Hobby tier only.
The SIMGASM Hobby is the correct torque-matched starting point. It lets the R12 V2 deliver direct-drive feedback through a fixed aluminium-profile frame while keeping the cockpit proportionate to the base's official peak output.
Twelve newton-metres is not the only force that matters, however. A stiff load-cell brake, a chassis-mounted shifter or a planned move to a higher-output MOZA base can justify more structure. Club, Sport and Pro cockpits are all compatible, but the collection does not repeat them because Hobby already meets the wheelbase rule. The Club cockpit is the practical step up for customers who expect long sessions near maximum FFB or want the frame to outlast a future wheelbase change. It also provides SIMGASM's guaranteed 100% flex-free platform recommendation. Sport and Pro add further reserve for larger, more complex builds.
Selecting the right cockpit tier does not select the wheelbase mount for you. Customers must choose the correct mount variant for the R12 V2 pattern: Bottom Mount, Front Mount or Side Mount where listed on the cockpit product page. Verify the V2 specifically rather than relying on the general R12 name, and use all fasteners required by the manufacturer.
Hobby is the accurate classification for 12 Nm peak; Club or above becomes a strategic choice for maximum-force longevity, stronger pedals and future expansion.
