Fanatec Podium DD cockpit compatibility at full output

Fanatec specifies the Podium DD at 25 Nm holding torque, with peak overshoot reaching 33 Nm. Because SIMGASM classifies a wheelbase by its highest published motor output, the 33 Nm peak moves this base above the 26 Nm Club limit. A Hobby or Club cockpit is therefore not included in this collection.

Sport or Pro: two appropriate Podium DD foundations

The SIMGASM Sport is the minimum tier we recommend for a Podium DD installation. Its 120 mm profile chassis gives the wheelbase the support required for high-torque direct drive while retaining a more compact footprint than the flagship model.

The SIMGASM Pro is also included because this wheelbase can generate brief forces well beyond its 25 Nm holding figure. Choose Pro if you intend to run high force-feedback settings for long sessions, use very stiff load-cell pedals, add motion, or simply want maximum upgrade headroom. For sustained maximum-force use, Pro is our recommendation for long-term rigidity and a guaranteed 100% flex-free platform.

Select the correct Fanatec mount

Product-level compatibility means at least one mounting variant supports the Podium DD. Confirm whether your exact base and preferred driving position require Bottom Mount, Front Mount or Side Mount before ordering. The mount is part of the load path, so the correct bolt pattern and a properly tightened connection matter as much as the cockpit tier.

This collection intentionally shows Sport and Pro cockpits only. That keeps the recommendation aligned with the Podium DD's true maximum output instead of treating its 25 Nm holding number as the entire story.
