If the Forza Horizon 6 preset is missing in SimPro Manager, update to the latest SimPro Manager 3 release first, then restart the app with the wheelbase connected so it reloads the game list. Still nothing? Reinstall SimPro Manager 3, or load the Forza Horizon 5 preset as a base and save it as your own FH6 profile. FH6 support arrived in SimPro Manager 3.0.4, so older versions simply do not have it.
The preset is a handy start, not a must. Your wheel works fine in FH6 with a clean manual profile. But the official preset saves time and adds game telemetry, so it is worth getting back.
Why does the FH6 preset go missing?
There are three common causes, and they are easy to tell apart.
Your SimPro Manager version is too old
Simagic added Forza Horizon 6 support in SimPro Manager 3.0.4. That update brought game telemetry, in app guidance and official presets for FH6. Any version below that, including the older 2.x branch, has no FH6 entry at all. In October 2026 the Simagic download centre lists version 3.2.3 as the latest release.
A version that did not load the game list
Some owners on version 3.1.2 reported that the FH6 preset did not show up. The most shared community fix was simple: reinstall SimPro Manager 3, or use the FH5 preset until the FH6 entry appears. In most cases the cause is a broken install or an app that started before the base was online.
The preset exists but is not active
Sometimes the preset is there, just not selected. The app keeps the last used profile. So if you raced another game yesterday, FH6 starts with that profile and the car feels wrong.

How do you get the FH6 preset back?
Work through these steps in order and check the preset list after each one.
Update and restart in the right order
Download the newest SimPro Manager from the official Simagic download centre. Close the app fully, also from the system tray. Switch the wheelbase on, wait until it finishes its start up, and only then open SimPro Manager. Now look for Forza Horizon 6 in the game presets. Check for a firmware update for the base and the rim while you are there.
Reinstall when the list stays empty
If the entry is still missing, uninstall SimPro Manager, restart Windows and install the latest version again. Export your own profiles before you do this, so you keep your custom work. Some antivirus tools block parts of the install, so check that nothing got stopped.
Build a clean profile from the FH5 preset
No luck yet? Load the FH5 preset, which many owners use as a close match, and save a copy named FH6. Then set the basics by hand: rotation around 720 to 900 degrees for road driving, moderate force feedback and a little mechanical damper. What should you check after loading the preset?
A loaded preset only helps when the game talks to the right device.
Device order and in game settings
FH6 sends force feedback to the first device in the Windows list. So even with the perfect preset, a connected gamepad kills the feel. Read how to make your Simagic device 1 in FH6 if the wheel turns but feels empty.
Auto switching between games
SimPro Manager is able to switch presets when it detects a game. Turn this on if you jump between FH6 and other titles. It stops the classic mistake of driving FH6 with your iRacing profile.
Test on one fixed route
Drive the same three or four corners after every change. Feel for weight build up in long corners and for harsh spikes over kerbs. Change one setting at a time. That habit comes straight from real racing: Johan Akkerman, our CEO, won the DNRT BMW E30 Cup in 2023 and 2024, and he still changes one thing per run.

Why a stable rig makes presets feel right
A preset assumes that the wheelbase stays still while the motor works.
On a desk or a light stand, part of the force feedback goes into flex instead of into your hands. The preset then feels vague, and people start to raise strength to compensate. On an aluminium profile cockpit the base sits locked in place, so the preset feels the way Simagic tuned it. The SIMGASM Club with its 40 x 80 mm profile handles direct drive wheelbases up to and including 26 Nm, so the Alpha EVO and the EVO Pro both fit with headroom. Every SIMGASM product is tested as part of a complete simulator before it ships from Wijk bij Duurstede. See all Simagic gear at SIMGASM for bases, rims and pedals that work together.
