In September 2026 SIMGASM crossed the Atlantic for the first time. From 18 to 20 September we had our own booth at the Sim Gaming Expo at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center near Chicago. It was our debut in the USA, and we could not have wished for a better start. Visitors lined up to try our rigs, well known creators filmed our booth and some people even took a SIMGASM rig home with them. In this article we look back on the weekend, with all the videos and exact timestamps where you can see SIMGASM. And the best part: next week we are at the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt.
Our first show in the USA
SIMGASM is a young brand. The idea started at the end of 2025, product development began in January 2026 and the company was officially registered in February 2026. Less than a year later we stood on the show floor in Chicago, between some of the biggest names in sim racing. Our booth was right next to Moza, and we were proud to show our full range there.
We brought rigs in red, gold, blue, purple, white and green, so visitors could see how far you can take the look of your setup. Frames, accessories, seats and padding all come in different colors. You can see the full range of frames in our sim racing cockpits, from the Hobby and Club lines to the Sport and Pro lines.
A big thank you to Moza Racing for the amazing equipment on our rigs and to Declic for the gaming PCs. Without them our booth would not have looked and driven the way it did. The best part of the weekend was talking to all of you. We had great talks about this fast growing hobby and about the small details hidden in our products.

Shaun from The Simpit sat down with Johan Akkerman of SIMGASM for a full booth tour of almost 18 minutes. They talk about why we started SIMGASM, why every rig comes in 10 colors, how the Hobby, Club and Sport lines differ and which seats we make. At the end Shaun was even more excited about the rig waiting for him at his studio after seeing it in person.

Adam Scottsy: our seats were a standout of the show
Adam Scottsy spent a full chapter of his expo video on SIMGASM seats. He called them one of the biggest standout products of the whole show and said they beat every other seat he tried there. About the Core Recline Seat he said it was "the absolute most comfortable seat I sat in at the convention".

OC Racing: a full tour of the expo
OC Racing made a full tour of the expo and stopped at our booth next to Moza. He liked the variety we brought and called our cockpits some of the most unique he had seen. He also pointed out how many color options we offer, something he said you will not find at many other companies.

Rigs that went home with visitors
For us the best proof of a good show is a happy customer. One visitor shared on Instagram that he found an affordable SIMGASM rig for two at the expo, so his daughters can race together. He wrote that it works perfectly for them and that the rigs are great for kids to grow up in. That is exactly why we build our rigs to be fully adjustable and fun for every skill level.

Next stop: SimRacing Expo Frankfurt
After this great start in the USA, we are heading back to Europe. Next week SIMGASM will be at the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, from 16 to 18 October 2026 at Messe Frankfurt. This year the biggest sim racing show in Europe moves from Dortmund to Frankfurt for the first time, and we are proud to be part of it.
