Which SIMGASM Club colour or livery suits you?

The right SIMGASM Club colour depends on your room, your hardware and the story you want your rig to tell. Black and silver keep the frame quiet and let your wheelbase and seat stand out. White, red, orange, green, blue, purple and gold turn the cockpit into the centre of the room. The RothBros, JPS, MARINI and Aichi liveries give it a real race car identity. Every finish uses the same 40x80 frame, so you choose purely on looks.

Below you find a simple way to choose, with tips on matching colours to your setup.

Why does SIMGASM offer so many colours?

The colour choice is not an extra, it is the reason SIMGASM exists.

Founder Johan Akkerman saw that many brands offered solid ways to hold a wheel and pedals, but very few made individual colours, race liveries, names and numbers affordable. Development started in January 2026 in Wijk bij Duurstede with that idea in mind. In his words, a simulator should perform, last for years and reflect the identity of the person behind the wheel.

The video above shows how far that goes. Romain Monti, the first SIMGASM ambassador, got a simulator in his own race car livery. It was first shown at SRO SpeedWeek at Spa Francorchamps.

Which Club colours are there?

The SIMGASM Club cockpit comes in two groups: plain colours and race liveries.

Plain colours

You choose from black, white, orange, green, blue, red, gold, purple and silver. Black and white are the most popular picks, and purple is a favourite for racers who want a bold but clean look.

Race liveries

The RothBros, JPS, MARINI and Aichi liveries bring classic motorsport graphics to the frame. SIMGASM print specialist Michal Nevrela has more than fifteen years of experience with professional print techniques. He translates artwork, colours and full racing liveries into physical parts, so the result looks like a finished product, not a sticker job.

How do you pick the right colour?

Three simple questions help you decide in a few minutes.

What does your room look like?

In a living room or bedroom, black, white and silver blend in with furniture. In a dedicated game room with RGB lighting, a strong colour like orange, green or purple makes the rig the star. Bright frames also show up better on stream.

What hardware sits on top?

Most wheelbases, pedals and seats are black. A black frame gives a calm, unified look and makes a mix of brands feel coherent. A coloured frame creates contrast and highlights the shape of the cockpit. Want the full story on this? Read does the colour of an aluminium sim racing rig change anything.

Which identity do you want to show?

Racing in a team or building a personal brand? A livery or your team colour makes the rig instantly recognisable in photos and videos. That helps when you present partners or sponsors. Our guide on planning colours and personalisation shows how to plan the full look.

Does colour change performance or durability?

A short answer, because this question comes up a lot.

No. Every Club finish shares the same 40x80 profile, the same 500 x 1350 x 620 mm size and the same 200 kg rated braking load at the pedal deck. One owner of a red Club wrote that the colour is quite scratch proof and that the frame has no play. The standard 2 year warranty applies to every finish.

Johan, who won DNRT BMW E30 Cup titles in 2023 and 2024, judges a rig on comfort, adjustability and consistency first. The colour is your personal layer on top of that solid base.

Matching colours with the rest of your setup

A few small choices make the whole rig look planned instead of pieced together.

Pick one main colour and one accent colour. A black seat on a coloured frame always works. Keep cables in black and route them along the profile slots. If you compare cockpits from other brands first, our guide on SIMGASM Club vs Playseat Trophy shows how the finish options differ.

Questions about Club colours and liveries

Quick answers to what buyers ask most before choosing.

Is a livery Club stronger or weaker than a plain colour?

Neither. The frame, profile and ratings are the same. Only the finish changes.

Which Club colour is the safest choice?

Black. It matches almost every wheelbase, pedal set and seat, and it keeps the look calm in any room.

Can you match the Club to your team colours?

With nine plain colours and four liveries, most team colours have a close match. For special requests, contact the SIMGASM team at hello@simgasm.com.
