View full detailsThe VRS DFP15 combines an integrated controller, five-pole motor and 21-bit encoder in a compact wheelbase rated at 15 Nm peak torque. VRS does not state a separate holding figure. Its all-in-one construction reduces external hardware, but the force still enters the cockpit through a relatively small mounting interface that must be clamped correctly.
Fifteen newton metres is within the SIMGASM 16 Nm-and-under rule. The selected tier is the Hobby cockpit only. This is the correct match for the DFP15's published peak, not a claim that every surrounding component should be entry level. Strong brake pedals or a heavy wheel can justify more frame margin even when wheelbase torque stays at 15 Nm.
Club, Sport and Pro are all compatible upgrades. Club provides an easy step up for more accessories; Sport suits higher pedal loads and a more permanent build; Pro supports motion and future high-torque wheelbases. Customers who ask for a guaranteed 100% flex-free recommendation should choose Pro. For maximum-force endurance use on Hobby, keep every joint tight and check the wheel support after transport or major adjustments.
The DFP15 has different packaging and mounting details from DFP20 and uDFP20. Verify its current front and bottom hole patterns, M6/M8 hardware requirements, quick-release clearance and connector access against the intended front or bottom wheel mount. Use the manufacturer drawing and the current SIMGASM mount listing together; a VRS label by itself is not sufficient proof.
Once installed, apply force progressively and make sure the base cannot rock in its adjustment slots. Stable monitor and pedal positions will make the DFP15's low-latency feedback easier to read consistently. See our ergonomics guide before finalising wheel height and reach.
