The SIMGASM Sport cockpit is designed for dedicated sim racers who need more strength, mounting freedom and expansion capacity than an entry-level chassis provides. It sits between Club and Pro in the SIMGASM range: built for demanding direct-drive systems and firm pedal inputs, while remaining a focused racing platform rather than the maximum-scale multipurpose solution offered by Pro.

A thicker base structure and pedal tray create a controlled foundation for steering and braking. The stronger, more adjustable wheel mounting system lets you build the cockpit around your preferred position instead of forcing your body to fit a fixed layout.

Made for GT and Formula driving positions

Sport offers the adjustment needed for a conventional GT position or a lower Formula-inspired posture. Its reinforced upright structure, adjustable wheel mount and pedal positioning help create a natural and repeatable layout for the type of cars you drive most often.

Sport configurations are available for different mounting methods, including bottom, front, side and compatible Asetek-style options. Select the version that matches your wheelbase and always confirm the exact mounting pattern on the individual product page.

Our guidance for high-torque wheelbases

For wheelbases producing more than 26 Nm and up to and including 40 Nm, SIMGASM recommends Sport or Pro. Above 40 Nm, choose Pro. Sport can also be the right long-term choice below 26 Nm when you expect to upgrade, use especially firm pedals or want more adjustment and accessory capacity from the beginning.

Torque is a selection guideline rather than a universal compatibility guarantee. The complete combination of mount, bolt pattern, pedals, seat, accessories and correct assembly determines whether a configuration is suitable.

More room for controls and cleaner cable routing

The longer shifter arm provides additional mounting space for controls such as a shifter, handbrake or button box without crowding the main driving area. Integrated cable slots help route wiring through the cockpit more neatly and make a growing USB and power setup easier to organise.

This makes Sport particularly suitable for competitive drivers, endurance racers and enthusiasts who use their simulator frequently. You can start with a straightforward wheel-and-pedal configuration and add controls, displays and other accessories as the setup develops.

Where Sport sits in the SIMGASM range

Choose Club when you race regularly and want a stronger, upgrade-ready foundation up to 26 Nm. Choose Sport when your hardware, pedal forces, positioning or accessory plans demand more. Pro remains the strongest and most adjustable option for wheelbases above 40 Nm, maximum add-ons or a combined race-and-flight simulator.
