The Twin Hydraulic Opposing Rapid Pistons (T.H.O.R.P.) System by Asetek SimSports offers the ultimate braking experience, replicating the pressure-based feedback of a real race car. Featuring an automotive-grade pressure sensor, this system delivers the most authentic brake feel in sim racing.

The Two-Stage Braking System

Soft Stage:

• Simulates real-world brake caliper pistons moving into position and compensates for minor mechanical play.

• Uses an elastomer-based slave cylinder to replicate this effect, allowing 20-25mm of pedal travel.

• Different elastomers provide varying levels of resistance without altering pedal travel.

Hard Stage:

• Once the soft stage is complete, the pedal enters the hard stage, simulating a real race car’s hydraulic pressure build-up.

• Feels identical to pressing against hydraulic forces in a race car, with a pressure range of up to 100 bar (equivalent to 185 kg of force on the pedal plate).

• Provides a precise, realistic brake feel that mirrors the physics of an actual racing vehicle.
