View full detailsWith the Boost Kit 180, the Gran Turismo DD Pro reaches 8 Nm peak torque, and Fanatec states that this output can be sustained. Eight newton-metres sits in the lower half of SIMGASM's up-to-16 Nm Hobby range, making the SIMGASM Hobby the appropriate minimum cockpit for this wheelbase.
Hobby gives the GT DD Pro a fixed aluminum-profile platform that preserves direct-drive detail without overspecifying the chassis. It is particularly well suited to customers moving from a desk or wheel stand who want a proper seating and pedal relationship while keeping the rig compact.
Chassis choice should also account for the rest of the setup. A high-force load-cell brake can place more stress through the cockpit than an 8 Nm steering motor. The stronger Club, Sport and Pro models are therefore compatible upgrade options. They are not repeated in this collection because Hobby already meets the wheelbase's torque class. Step up when you expect sustained maximum settings, harder braking or a future move to a more powerful base; that is our route to longer structural headroom and the guaranteed 100% flex-free recommendation.
Select the wheelbase mount that matches your exact GT DD Pro hardware and preferred wheel position. Review the Bottom Mount, Front Mount and Side Mount variants on the cockpit product page rather than assuming every mount option uses the same Fanatec pattern.
This collection is built around the official 8 Nm Boost Kit specification, keeping the recommendation useful for the hardware customers actually run.
