View full detailsThe 8 Nm CSL DD QR2 package uses the Boost Kit 180 to deliver 8 Nm peak torque. Fanatec describes that output as sustainable, but it remains well below SIMGASM's 16 Nm Hobby ceiling. The Hobby cockpit is therefore the lowest recommended tier and the only tier shown in this collection.
A rigid mounting surface helps the CSL DD communicate small steering details that can disappear when a desk or folding stand moves. Hobby provides that fixed aluminum-profile foundation while preserving the value proposition that makes the CSL DD attractive. It also gives customers a clean path to add a seat, shifter, handbrake and monitor solution over time.
The Club, Sport and Pro are all compatible with the wheelbase. They are stronger choices when the build includes very high brake pressure, motion hardware or an imminent wheelbase upgrade. If the CSL DD will be driven at maximum output for long sessions, moving up one tier adds durability headroom and provides our guaranteed 100% flex-free platform recommendation.
QR2 describes the connection between wheel rim and wheelbase; the cockpit still needs the correct base mount. Confirm the Fanatec bolt pattern and choose the matching Bottom Mount, Front Mount or Side Mount option on the cockpit page. Secure all specified bolts so the mount and chassis work as one structure.
This page separates wheelbase output from quick-release branding, giving the 8 Nm CSL DD the cockpit tier its motor actually requires.
