Building a “motion-ready” cockpit isn’t only about buying a motion platform. It’s about designing a system that can handle torque, brake forces, vibration and cable movement without becoming a noisy maintenance project.

What “motion-ready” actually means

  • Stiff under load: no twisting when you counter-steer or brake hard.
  • Clean cable paths: cables have slack where they need slack and are fixed where they should be fixed.
  • Serviceable: you can add or remove hardware without rebuilding the whole rig.
  • Monitor stability: the horizon stays stable (or intentionally moves if you use a moving monitor solution).
