Most SIMGASM accessories fit all four cockpits: Hobby, Club, Sport and Pro. The shifter and handbrake mount, the PC tray, the motion actuator brackets and the brackets for the Qubic QS BT1 belt tensioner are all made for the complete range. What differs per cockpit is the profile size, the braking load and the wheel mount, so those decide which upgrades make sense for you.
In short, you pick the cockpit for your hardware and then add parts as your setup grows. Below you find what fits where, with the real specs behind each part. First, watch how a SIMGASM cockpit goes together in the official assembly guide.
How do the four SIMGASM cockpits differ?
The four cockpits share one modular system but differ in profile depth and braking load.
The Hobby uses a 40 x 40 mm main profile and a rated braking load of 150 kg at the pedal deck. The Club moves to 40 x 80 mm and 200 kg. The Sport uses 40 x 120 mm and 300 kg, with integrated cable passthroughs and motion ready construction. The Pro tops the range with a 40 x 160 mm profile for the heaviest builds. Because they all use the same aluminium profile system, one set of accessories grows with you from the first sim racing cockpit to the last.
Which accessories fit every SIMGASM cockpit?
Several add ons are designed to bolt onto any cockpit in the range.
Shifter and handbrake mount
Every SIMGASM cockpit already includes the Core side profile shifter and handbrake arm. The separate Shifter and Handbrake Mount is an adjustable plate for a second device or a different position. It fits all SIMGASM simulators and holds both peripherals firmly during rally or drift sessions.

PC tray, keyboard and cup holders
The PC tray fits all SIMGASM simulators and keeps your computer inside the frame. The keyboard swivel mount, mouse tray, cupholder and accessory holder slide into the T slots of every model. For the full story on desk tools, see our comparison of a keyboard swivel mount or mouse tray.
Seat sliders, heel rest and casters
A seat slider is not included with the cockpits, so most buyers add the dual locking set. The 400 mm heel rest fits the pedal area of each model, as we explain in do you need a heel rest on a sim racing cockpit. The metal caster set fits the chassis as well as free standing monitor stands.
Which accessories prepare a cockpit for motion and belt tension?
For immersion upgrades, SIMGASM makes brackets that fit Hobby, Club, Sport and Pro alike.
Universal motion actuator brackets
The BS MA bracket set holds four motion actuators, one at each corner. Each bracket is made from 6 mm carbon steel and connects through four bolted mounting points. It supports systems such as Qubic System QS 210 and QS 220, MOZA HMA150, SFX 100 and SFX 150, and several others. That makes it one of the most flexible parts in the range.

Belt tensioner brackets for the Qubic QS BT1
An active belt tensioner pulls the harness when you brake, so you feel deceleration in your chest. The SIMGASM bracket pair for the Qubic QS BT1 is made from 6 mm steel. It supports a 420 mm or 500 mm internal mounting width, with slotted holes for easy alignment. Want haptics too? Our bass shaker tuning guide covers clean mounting.

Which wheel mount parts depend on your wheelbase?
Wheel mounts are the one area where your wheelbase, not the cockpit, decides the part.
The bottom mount covers supported underside patterns from Logitech, Fanatec, MOZA, Thrustmaster, SIMAGIC, PXN, Simucube, Asetek and VRS. The front wheelmount bracket supports selected Fanatec, Simucube and VRS models, and does not fit SIMAGIC. The side mount bracket set suits selected Fanatec, MOZA and SIMAGIC bases, and Asetek has its own front bracket. Our guide on bottom, front or side mount helps you choose.
Do SIMGASM accessories fit other brands?
Many parts work on other aluminium profile rigs, but you need to check the widths first.
The belt tensioner brackets, for example, need a 420 mm or 500 mm internal width. So measure your frame before you order for a Trak Racer, Playseat or Fanatec CSL cockpit. SIMGASM founder Johan Akkerman knows these differences well. He worked at Trak Racer as Chief Business Officer, helped develop the TRX chassis and designed the TRX seat before he started SIMGASM. Development began in January 2026 and the company was formally incorporated on 27 February 2026.
Why buy accessories from the maker of your cockpit?
Parts from the same maker fit the same hole patterns, finishes and load limits.
Every SIMGASM product is tested as part of a complete simulator, not as an isolated component. Johan races on a SIMGASM Sport with a Formula Atlas seat, virtual reality and motion, so the brackets see real use. The products carry a standard 2 year warranty, and customers rate SIMGASM 4.97 out of 5 from 198 verified reviews.
