Which MOZA settings suit the F1 25 2026 cars?

For the F1 25 2026 cars, set your MOZA base to 100 percent game force feedback intensity in Pit House, use 400 degrees of steering angle in both Pit House and the game, keep natural damper, friction and inertia low, and control the total force with the in game Force Feedback Strength slider. Set every extra effect in F1 25 to zero. That gives a clean signal on an R5, R9, R12 or R21.

Below you find what each setting does, why it matters on the lighter 2026 cars, and a starting strength for each MOZA base.

Why do MOZA settings matter more on the 2026 cars?

The 2026 cars send a different signal through the wheel than the 2025 cars.

They are 32 kg lighter, shorter and carry around 15 percent less downforce. Active aero switches the wings between Corner Mode and Straight Mode, so the steering load rises and falls more often during a lap. A MOZA base set up with heavy damping or a low torque limit smooths those changes away. A clean setup keeps them sharp.

Pit House settings for F1 25

Pit House is the MOZA software where you set the base itself, before the game adds its own signal.

Game force feedback intensity: 100 percent

This setting scales the whole signal coming from the game. Keep it at 100 percent. A lower value creates clipping earlier than needed, because the base reaches its limit while the signal still has room to grow. Lower the force in the game instead, as our F1 25 force feedback settings guide explains.

Maximum output torque limit: 100 percent

This caps the peak torque of the motor. On an R5 or R9, leave it at 100 percent. On an R21 you may lower it for safety and comfort, but then adjust the in game strength as well, so the signal does not clip against the new cap.

Steering angle: 400 degrees

The fastest esports drivers use around 400 degrees for F1. It is precise enough through fast corners and still gives enough lock for a tight hairpin. Make sure the angle in Pit House matches the angle in F1 25. Our steering angle and wheel rotation guide explains why a mismatch makes the car feel twitchy.

The R9 V3 is a popular MOZA base for F1 because 9 Nm gives solid detail without heavy arms after a full race distance.

Natural damper, friction and inertia: low

These three settings add resistance that does not come from the game. A natural damper makes the wheel feel heavy when you turn fast. Friction makes it feel sticky. Inertia makes it feel like the rim has extra mass. Start around 10 percent or lower for each. Raise the damper only if the wheel oscillates on the straights.

Road sensitivity: middle

Road sensitivity controls how much fine detail from the road surface the base passes on. A middle value keeps kerbs and bumps clear without harsh noise. On the 2026 cars that detail helps you feel when the wings open, because the steering goes lighter and the road texture stands out more.

F1 25 in game settings for MOZA

Once Pit House is set, the game controls the strength and the extra effects.

Vibration and Force Feedback Strength per base

Use these numbers as a starting point and adjust by feel. On an R5, start around 80 to 90. On an R9, start around 65 to 75. On an R12, start around 55 to 65. On an R21, start around 40 to 50. Go lower if the wheel feels numb in fast corners or under braking, because that numb feeling is often clipping.

Extra effects and wheel damper

Set On Track Effects, Rumble Strip Effects, Off Track Effects and Pit Stop Effects to zero. Keep Understeer Enhance off. These effects add fake signals on top of the real force feedback. Keep Wheel Damper low and only raise it in steps of 5 if the wheel shakes on the straights.

If you drive with a high torque base, a strong rig matters just as much as the settings.

Common MOZA problems in F1 25

Most MOZA issues in F1 25 come down to one setting fighting another.

The wheel oscillates on the straights

Direct drive bases react fast, so a low damper sometimes lets the wheel shake left and right on long straights. Raise the in game Wheel Damper or the natural damper in Pit House in small steps until it stops. Our MOZA force feedback clipping checklist helps when the problem is clipping instead.

Pit House settings reset

Save your F1 25 setup as a separate profile in Pit House. Some players switch games and forget that another profile is still active. If no force feedback reaches the wheel at all, our no force feedback fix for F1 25 walks you through every check.

Does your cockpit affect MOZA feel?

Yes. Every MOZA setting assumes the base is mounted on a frame that does not move.

SIMGASM develops its own cockpits in Wijk bij Duurstede, the Netherlands. Johan Akkerman, a former esports world champion with experience at Trak Racer, designed the range and still leads product development. Many SIMGASM product photos show a MOZA setup, because the wheel deck is built to hold a direct drive base without flex. The Club uses a 40 × 80 mm main profile and a pedal deck rated for 200 kg of braking load, a strong match for an R9 or R12. Browse all direct drive wheel bases to compare the options.

Questions about MOZA settings in F1 25

Here are short answers to the most common MOZA questions for the 2026 cars.

Should I use the MOZA preset for F1 25?

Yes, the preset is a good place to start. Check afterwards that game force feedback intensity sits at 100 percent and that the steering angle matches the game.

Why does my MOZA feel heavy but not detailed?

The natural damper or the in game strength is likely too high. Lower both and the detail returns.

Do the same settings work on PS5?

The in game settings work the same on PS5. The base settings live in the wheel itself, so set them in Pit House on a PC first, then use the wheel on the console.

Which MOZA base suits F1 25 best?

The R9 and R12 hit the sweet spot for most drivers. They give enough detail for the 2026 cars without heavy steering after a long race.
