Road Atlanta asks you to read elevation changes and manage traffic through fast transitions. Long Beach demands precise placement between concrete walls. What is included in Le Mans Ultimate 1.4.2?

Road Atlanta: find a rhythm before chasing a lap time
Road Atlanta brings blind crests, changing camber and a flowing layout to LMU. In multiclass traffic, the challenge is making your next move early enough: a compromised line can affect more than one corner, and a faster prototype arriving behind you changes the decisions you have to make.
Our preparation advice: start with a repeatable braking reference and a conservative approach to kerbs. Build speed once you can complete a stint without relying on last-second corrections. A fixed relationship between your seat and pedals helps you practise that same input repeatedly, especially when using a load-cell brake.
Long Beach: precision between the walls
Long Beach is LMU’s first true street circuit. Narrow sections, blind entries and a slow final hairpin create a different type of pressure from an open permanent circuit. Small positioning errors can leave very little room to recover, particularly when classes with different speeds meet.
Our preparation advice: practise traffic management as deliberately as qualifying laps. Leave yourself an exit from a developing incident and avoid forcing an overlap into a gap that is closing. Set your screen position and field of view before learning braking points, so those visual references stay consistent.
2026 liveries, online fixes and the RaceControl roadmap
The new Le Mans LMP2 and LMGT3 liveries join the 2026 Hypercar liveries introduced in version 1.4. The ELMS field also receives its 2026 update, with ELMS 2026 season selection added to Race Weekend.
For regular racers, several smaller changes deserve attention. The official patch notes include improved fuel estimates that exclude formation and pit laps, fixes around pit-stop behaviour, more detailed track-limit detection and a fix for a rare false DNF after finishing online.
Online reliability remains an ongoing development priority following the initial RUDP networking rollout. Studio 397 has been refining the system and running public network tests. Treat 1.4.2 as another step in that work, without assuming every connection or collision issue has been eliminated.

Apex Integrated Single Monitor Stand: put the view in the right place
The Apex Integrated Single Monitor Stand attaches directly to the cockpit and offers adjustable screen positioning. It supports VESA 75 × 75, 100 × 100 and 200 × 200 mm mounting patterns.
This makes it a useful addition when you want a compact single-screen build. Position the screen around your seated eye line, then calculate the in-game field of view from your display size and viewing distance. For Long Beach, a consistent view is a better starting point than repeatedly changing the camera to compensate for an awkward monitor position.
MOZA R12 V2: a direct-drive option to complete the build
For a PC setup, the MOZA R12 V2 Direct Drive Wheel Base is a 12 Nm option available through SIMGASM. Pair it with a compatible MOZA steering wheel and the correct cockpit mount. Start with a manageable force-feedback setting and adjust it over a full practice stint, keeping steering effort comfortable and avoiding clipping.
